Publication ethics

RHJ is committed to maintaining high standards through a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies. Any infringements of professional ethical codes, such as fraudulent use of data, bogus claims of authorship, should be taken very seriously by the editors with zero tolerance.

Authors are responsible for the factual accuracy and copyright of their contributions.
Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published beforethat its publication has been approved by all co-authors and the responsible authorities at the institution where the scientific work was carried out.
The author warrants that their contribution is original. The copyright transfer covers the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprints, translations, photographic reproductions, electronic form (offline, online) or any other reproductions (https://romanianjournalofhorticulture.ro/index.php/RJH/review-process)

The authors which submitting the article for publication  agree to transfer the copyright and the related rights to the Romanian Journal of Horticulture. The copyright and the related rights are the ones specified in the Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, part I, No. 60 from 26.03.1996, with subsequent amendments and additions (https://romanianjournalofhorticulture.ro/index.php/RJH/journal-policies)

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work. Information obtained privately, as in conversation, correspondence, or discussion with third parties, must not be used or reported without explicit, written permission from the source. Information obtained in the course of confidential services, such as refereeing manuscripts or grant applications, must not be used without the explicit written permission of the author of the work involved in these services (https://romanianjournalofhorticulture.ro/index.php/RJH/journal-policies)

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication. (https://romanianjournalofhorticulture.ro/index.php/RJH/journal-policies )

RJH follows the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and follows the COPE Flowcharts for Resolving Cases of Suspected Misconduct.

The submitted manuscript should not have been previously published in any form and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
